FUNDRAISING
CAMPAIGNS
ATFL is committed to cooperating with US-based NGOs and others to help alleviate poverty, de-mining, improved healthcare facilities and equipment, and many other needs of the people in Lebanon. Below is information on various campaigns supported by ATFL and links to cooperating organizations.
ATFL Let Lebanon Live Campaign
This campaign has now concluded.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED!
The Lebanese people are facing a desperate situation without effective government services. Costs are soaring as the Lebanese pound continues to depreciate and many people cannot obtain food, medicine, power, or shelter. Without swift solutions, over 50% of the Lebanese population could be facing poverty. The COVID-19 outbreak only compounds the severity of the hardship faced by so many Lebanese.
The American Task Force on Lebanon is partnering with the Country Fund of Rotary Association Lebanon to provide assistance to the Lebanese Food Bank, supported by 28 geographically diversified Rotary Clubs in Lebanon. 100% of the funds collected will be distributed to Rotary Association Lebanon and designated for the Lebanese Food Bank. Donations to ATFL, a US 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, are fully tax-deductible.
Campaign Information
Donations went toward food boxes to feed families of four in Lebanon.
WORK WITH THE MARSHALL LEGACY INSTITUTE
In 2014 and 2018, the American Task Force for Lebanon sponsored Mine Detection Dogs (MDDs) for Lebanon through the Marshall Legacy Institute (MLI). MLI’s humanitarian mission is to alleviate suffering and promote hope and stability to countries ravaged by landmines. Through the sponsorship of two Mine Detection Dogs, ATFL is helping to pave the way toward a mine-safe world.
