Mr. Salim Sessine

Salim Sessine is the Owner and President of MA Engineering (MAE) and EAM Engineers
located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Born and raised in Lebanon, Salim immigrated to the United States in 1980 to pursue his education where he received his Bachelors of Science inMechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and his Masters of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer.

Salim joined MAE in 1996 as a partner, then became full owner in 2000. Since taking ownership of MAE, he grew the small 5-employee firm to its current 35-employee status, which includes the talent from EAM Engineers, which he acquired in 2016. MAE and EAM are Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Consulting Engineering firms that are recognized and respected both locally and nationally and are highly sought after for their ability to address complex challenges, their reputation in providing quality consulting and enginering services, and their emphasis in providing individualized customer service.

Salim has enjoyed much success in his professional life and he has made it a priority to share that success with others by routinely giving back to the community as well as his hometown in Lebanon to which he provided aide and medical supplies at the time of a national crisis. He has been involved in multiple organizations including The Basilica of St. Mary’s Antiochian Orthodox Church in Livonia where he currently serves as Co-Chairman for the Mariam Center Project and previously served as the Parish Council President. He served as the Vice Chairman for the Lebanese American Council for Democracy (LACD), was a Board Member of Trustee for the Christian Lebanese Foundation of the World (CLFW), was a Member of the Advisory Board for ACCESS Community Organization, and a previous Board Member wtith the Auxilia Foundation.

Salim received Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the American Arab Chamber of Commerce
“Building Economic Bridges” Gala in 2023. He was awarded Honorable Mention at the first
annual New Americans Appreciation Gala, which featured Governor Rich Synder as its keynote speaker, for having made significant contributions to the community.
