The American Task Force for Lebanon (ATFL) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization comprised of Americans of Lebanese heritage and others who share a common interest in Lebanon and the goals of the ATFL. We believe that we can make an important contribution to our great nation by enhancing the bilateral relations between the United States and Lebanon. ATFL’s mission is motivated by American interests and values, and how these attributes will lead us to improved future bonds between our two countries.
ATFL consists of prominent Lebanese Americans who have distinguished themselves in the fields of politics, business, law, medicine, arts, and sciences. ATFL is nonsectarian, independent, and nonpartisan. Our purpose is to improve the civic, cultural, educational, and charitable ties between our two countries, and the common values that unite us. We work to expand the awareness of the economic, social, and political conditions in both countries and to enhance our relationship through a better understanding each country’s interests and expectations.
